Iowa Bat Removal

Summer is a very busy time and many Iowans discover bats in their home on a regular basis. Most of our customers discover they first have a bat problem by the discovery of a lone bat in their home. We offer emergency bat removal services. Nearly 95% of all calls involving bats in homes, or after us checking out complaints of noises in walls or attics we discover a fault in the homes design or poor home maintenance, damage from a storm or even another a wild animal as the cause for bats having access to enter and exit a home.

Iowa Bat Exclusion

The best way to get bats out and get rid of bats from your home for good is to have your home inspected for any and all access points that are being used by bats now or could be used by bats in the future. All access points need to be sealed off however before a total seal off the home’s major egress and ingress points have special one way valves that allow for bats to fly out but not gain access to your home again.

A bat exclusion needs to not be done when young bats or pups are unable to fly or even move around. This is important since momma bat will leave and unable to get back in and the young unable to fly will search the entire attic looking for momma bat and eventually die of starvation and lack of water . When young bats unable to fly die in your home the odor is more then obvious and very rank . Imagine 5 pounds of hamburger left to spoil in your attic and the smell and flies such a scene would create . When a maternity bat colonies young are left in a home to die it usually ends up costing more money then having the home done properly by a bat removal professional in the first place.

Iowa Bat Exterminator

Nobody needs to kill bats to get rid of them in fact the intentional killing of bats is against the law and a punishable offense all over the US.  We do not kill bats. We do not exterminate bats but we do guarantee the complete removal of bats from your home, attic, chimney, fireplace, behind window shutters etc.
